How To Get Google Map API Key

If you have already created the project, move to create credentials, If not first set up the project.
- Select “Credentials” in the sidebar.
- Click “Create Credentials.”
- Select the API key. Your API key will be created.
To create a Google Map Server Key, You have to restrict IP addresses.
- Click the “Vertical Ellipsis” and select “Edit API Key”
Select “IP Address” and click “+Add” to add the IP address.
Here mention the network IP address where these keys are being used.
After providing the IP, provide API restriction by clicking “Restrict Key”
Select the 4 API keys you have enabled.
Geocoding API
Maps Javascript API
Maps Static API
Places API
- You have successfully created the Google Map Server Key.
- Now copy the API key.
To create a Google Map API Key, You have to restrict the Website.
- Click the “Vertical Ellipsis” and select “Edit API Key”
Select “Website” and click “+Add” to add the website.
Here mention the website address where the API keys are being used.
After providing the website address, provide website restriction by clicking “Restrict Key”
Select the 4 API keys you have enabled.

Maps Javascript API
Maps Static API
Places API
- You have successfully created the Google Map Server Key.
Now copy the API key.
